Rebuilding the Foundations: Welcome to Biblical Pentecostals
Every lasting work needs a firm foundation. For the Christian life, that foundation is Jesus Christ.
Biblical Pentecostals began with a desire to help believers return to Scripture, grow in their knowledge of Christ, and live faithfully through the power of the Holy Spirit.
I’m Randal Deese, founder of Biblical Pentecostals. Thank you for joining me at the beginning of this work.
Why “Rebuilding the Foundations”?
The phrase expresses a call to examine what we believe, how we read the Bible, and how we practice our faith.
It begins with our own willingness to learn. We need to ask honest questions, read passages in their context, and allow Scripture to challenge our assumptions. We also need to put what we learn into practice—in our homes, our churches, and our relationships.
Jesus described the person who hears His words and acts on them as someone who builds a house on rock (Matthew 7:24–27). A sound foundation involves both understanding and obedience.
Biblical, Christ-centered, and Spirit-filled
These commitments shape the purpose of Biblical Pentecostals.
Biblical: We seek to study Scripture carefully, taking its context seriously and allowing it to guide our beliefs and conduct.
Christ-centered: We look to Jesus Christ—His life, death, resurrection, and teaching—as central to our faith and hope.
Spirit-filled: We seek the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives, including His gifts, His guidance, and the fruit He produces in our character. Pentecostal faith should be evident in love, holiness, humility, and faithful service.
These commitments belong together. What we believe should shape how we live and how we treat others.
What You’ll Find Here
As this publication grows, I plan to share Bible studies, theological reflections, teaching resources, and ministry updates. We will explore the foundations of Pentecostal faith and consider how biblical teaching speaks to the questions we face today.
My aim is to offer resources that encourage thoughtful study and a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. Some articles will examine a passage closely. Others will explore a doctrinal question or its practical implications for Christian life.
Throughout this work, I want to approach difficult subjects with conviction, care, and a willingness to listen.

Whether you have been part of a Pentecostal church for many years or are beginning to explore the faith, you are welcome here.
Bring your Bible, your questions, and a willingness to study. Read carefully, consider what is shared, and examine it in light of Scripture.
